Value of $

If you are new to php coding, you probably don't realize the importance of $. Of course everyone values their money, and if its in $s you better take very good care !! . If you have not been taking good care of your $, try coding in php, there are no short cuts to $.
php treats all the variables and class methods as pricey elements, you have to use your $s to get to them. Like the huge tuskers, the $ too is indeed a komban (continuing with the malayalam slang-for-the-day)

Terrain MAP from Google

We have just moved to the terrain map, from Google on our main, tra|WELL|r page.
Needless to say, the terrain tiles are very impressive and elegant. With the earlier MAP types, the page looked terribly cluttered after we added our custom marker overlays. But with the terrain map, it retains the simple look-and-feel even after we add the custom marker overlays.
Adipoli Google ...!!
(thats your Malayalam slang-for-the-day too !! no points for guessing what that means)

nuts and bolts of a good travel experience

Everyone likes a good travel experience, and where does that experience comes from?

the entire gamut of things which are involved, right from thinking about your travel, planning it, realizing it, and then actually putting your feet in the water.

Let us see the variables involved

the group of travelers who are going with you, each one having his / her own choices, tastes and preferences.

your wallet power: Its not only the credit cards with whom you can book it online (and save cash), travel also needs crisp notes and clinky coins which you need to carry with you (to give a tip, to handover change to an auto guy or whatever), and did i forget Traveler cheques.

the energy you and your team can put together for the entire travel: do you have your gang of friends going with you or its your family ? this can change your entire thought process.

the food choices: one of you is a go-by-god veg, and the other two can't live without redmeat. man! you are done when it comes to having lunch or dinner

where to go: two want to go to Goa, and the other two want to go to Pondi and have strong reasons and arguments for and against it. there goes your sleep....

etc etc etc.. there are many more variables which are the silent and salient thoughts which keep bubbling through your mind when you are actually down to make it happen.

its an ordeal !! (just think about adding kids, elders, teenager girls, boys to it). This puzzle keeps on getting complex and just by looking at a travel guide, never on the earth you can solve it.

There is a tremondous amount of fatigue which creeps in, and at the end of it, by the time you make your plan you are really tired. (pssst..you have still not started your travel.. okay)..

We are working to solve some of these problems for you, and add value to your travel experience. We can't wait to release it, but... can't speed up more than time..

just a little more wait, and thou shall get what you need....
